Transitioning into cybersecurity, I focus on Microsoft cloud security, specialising in identity, access control, and detection within Azure and Entra ID environments. I analyse authentication behaviour, investigate access anomalies, and build structured labs that reflect real-world SOC and identity threat scenarios.
Future Cloud Security Path
Identity Security (Entra ID / Azure) – hands-on work with identity lifecycle management, authentication flows, and access control analysis (RBAC reviews, sign-in log analysis).
Cloud Detection & Monitoring – analysing Azure and identity telemetry, triaging alerts, and applying SOC investigative methodology (Microsoft Sentinel, KQL).
Detection Engineering (Identity-Focused) – building toward detection rule development, behavioural baselining, and MITRE ATT&CK-aligned identity detections (lab-based scenarios).
